First-time borrowing

Your first step starts with the facts.

There is no rush to decide. Take time to understand the amount, the cost and the commitment.

Start with your budget

List your take-home income, essentials and current repayments. The money left over is not automatically a safe loan instalment: leave room for expenses that vary or arrive unexpectedly.

Use the printable budget planner. It works on your device and does not send your figures anywhere.

Understand your proposed plan

Everyday is a single-payment option. Flex divides the principal into several monthly repayments. Compare them using the same amount and read the total cost, not just the first instalment.

There is no first-loan zero-interest promotion in this proposal. The calculator includes all proposed mandatory costs. Applications are not yet open.

Keep your own record

For any future agreement, keep the quotation, contract, payment schedule and confirmed contact details. Never agree to an amount you do not understand. Ask for an explanation before accepting, and check the legal provider in the NCR register.
