Payment know-how

DebiCheck, without the jargon.

DebiCheck lets you confirm certain debit-order details with your bank. It helps match collections to an authenticated mandate; it is not a loan approval.

Author and specialist review pending.

Read the bank’s request

Check the collector and agreed collection details. The confirmation happens through a channel provided by your bank. The process and prompts can vary, so follow your bank’s official instructions.

Do not approve a request that does not match the agreement you understand. Never relay your OTP or PIN to an agent who says they will confirm it for you.

What happens after confirmation

The confirmed mandate is recorded by the bank and used to check collections. That does not mean your lender has completed the application assessment or sent loan money. Those are separate events.

An authenticated mandate also does not create enough funds in the account. Make sure the agreed collection date fits the real timing of your income.

When something needs to change

Speak to the creditor about agreement terms and your bank about its authentication or dispute channels. Cancelling a debit order does not itself erase the debt. Get any repayment arrangement confirmed in writing.

ClearRand has not confirmed a collection provider. This guide explains the system generally and does not describe an active mandate for you.

Separate the three stages

  1. The agreement: read the creditor’s repayment terms and keep your copy.
  2. Bank confirmation: compare the collector and collection details in the bank’s request with the agreement. Use the bank’s own instructions if something is unfamiliar.
  3. The collection: check the payment against your bank record and keep the reference.

These are separate checks. Confirming bank details does not tell you that a loan is approved, paid out or affordable. If a request is unexpected or does not match, query it through a verified channel before confirming it.
